Description
Description
The Vention KRUH0 is a compact, gun-style spring-loaded emergency tool designed for rapid vehicle escape. Unlike traditional heavy hammers that require a large swinging motion, this uses a high-pressure internal spring to shatter glass with a simple press.
- One-Click Window Breaker: The tungsten steel head is harder than car glass. By pressing the tool against the corner of a window, the spring fires the tip forward to instantly shatter tempered glass, even under water pressure.
- Safe Seatbelt Cutter: The cutting blade is tucked into a U-shaped slot. This design prevents you from accidentally cutting your fingers while allowing you to hook and slice through a jammed seatbelt in seconds.
- Underwater Reliability: Traditional hammers are difficult to swing in a submerged car due to water resistance. Because this tool is spring-loaded and requires only a press, it works perfectly in flooding or sinking scenarios.
- Tough Build: Made from aluminum alloy rather than cheap plastic, it won’t become brittle in the winter or melt/warp in a hot car during summer.
- Striker Material High-strength Tungsten Steel (Rockwell hardness ~55-60)
- Mechanism Gun-style spring-loaded (Produces ~20kgf impact force)
- Body Material Aluminum Alloy + ABS (heat and cold resistant)
- Cutter Type U-shaped hidden Stainless Steel blade
- Weight Very lightweight (~30-50g)
- Mounting Includes a stick-on bracket for dashboard or console
Critical Safety Tips
- Target the Corners: When breaking a window, always aim for the four corners, not the center. The corners are the most vulnerable points of tempered glass.
- Tempered vs. Laminated Glass: Like most portable breakers, this works on tempered glass (usually found on side and rear windows). It will not break laminated glass (typically used for front windshields and some modern luxury car side windows).
- Storage: Use the included bracket to mount it somewhere reachable even if you are hanging upside down in a seatbelt (e.g., the center console or door pillar).
