- The Anycubic Kobra X Series ACE GEN2 Printhead Assembly is the complete, drop-in toolhead module designed specifically for the Kobra X series 3D printers. It serves as the primary hub for extrusion, cooling, position sensing, and automatic multi-color/multi-material filament handling when paired with the Anycubic ACE (Color Engine) system.
- Integrated Multi-Filament Feeding: Engineered to work seamlessly with multi-color filament systems (such as the Anycubic ACE 2 Pro). It features dedicated PTFE tube feed channels and a cam gear filament feeding mechanism for rapid loading, unloading, and purging.
- High-Flow Extrusion & Hotend: Equipped with a high-temperature hotend, high-efficiency heat block, and silicone insulating boot. It delivers precise filament melt-rates required for high-speed printing across standard and engineering materials.
- Integrated Sensor Array: Houses internal position detection boards, filament movement/clog sensors, and strain gauge leveling electronics to support automatic Z-offset and bed meshing calibration.
- Dual Cooling System: Features dedicated fans for both hotend heat-break isolation and rapid part cooling directly targeted at the nozzle tip.
- Direct-Fit Mounting: Secured directly to the X-axis carriage using standard M3 hex screws and quick-connect ribbon/wiring harnesses for easy swap and maintenance.

Maintenance & Care Tips
- Keep the Silicone Boot Intact: Always make sure the high-temp silicone nozzle boot is seated properly over the hotend block to prevent stray filament bits from accumulating on internal heat sensors.
- Periodic Gear Lubrication: Every 300–500 printing hours, inspect and apply a small amount of synthetic lube (e.g., Super Lube) to the internal gear/cam shaft mechanism to prevent feeding friction.
- Post-Replacement Calibration: Whenever replacing or reinstalling the toolhead, perform the printer's 4-point automatic calibration (bed leveling, input shaping, and vibration compensation) from the printer touchscreen menu.
