  • The Anycubic SP Kobra S1 / S1 Combo Extruder Assembly: Is the high-precision dual-gear direct drive feeding system engineered for the enclosed CoreXY architecture of the Kobra S1 series. Designed to deliver reliable, slip-free extrusion during ultra-high-speed printing (up to 600 mm/s), this assembly houses hardened steel dual-drive gears, an integrated filament cutter arm for multi-color material swaps via the ACE Pro, and a quick-release hotend latching mechanism.
  • Hardened Steel Dual-Gear Drive: Uses a high-gear-ratio reduction system with dual hardened tool-steel gears to provide high pushing torque without chewing up soft or abrasive filaments.
  • Integrated Auto-Cutter Mechanism: Features a spring-loaded mechanical cutter lever that trims the filament tip cleanly during color swaps with the ACE Pro multi-material system.
  • Quick-Release Hotend Interface: Designed specifically to dock with the quick-release hotend system, allowing toolless hotend insertion and removal.
  • Optimized Flexible & Composite Support: Shortened, constrained filament path reduces buckling, making it equally capable with flexible TPU as well as rigid carbon-fiber reinforced filaments (PET-CF, PA-CF).

Maintenance & Care Tips

  • Keep Drive Teeth Clean: Inspect and clean the drive gear teeth periodically using a small brass wire brush or compressed air to clear filament dust that could cause slipping.
  • Check Cutter Spring Return: After installing a new unit, manually push the filament cutter lever to confirm it snaps back fully under spring tension so it does not block incoming spools.
  • Calibrate E-Steps / Flow Rate: Run an Extrution Flow / Rotation Distance calibration in your slicer or printer interface following replacement to ensure dimensional accuracy.
