- The Anycubic Kobra 3 Series / Kobra 3 Max Pneumatic Fitting Retaining Ring: is a small C-clip or horseshoe locking clip designed to secure pneumatic quick-connect couplings (press-fit heads) across the filament feeding system.
- Collet Lock Security: Physically blocks the pneumatic fitting's top release ring from bowing or sliding inward under heavy back-pressure during fast multi-color tool changes.
- Eliminates Retraction Backlash: Prevents micro-movements of the PTFE tube inside the quick-connect port, preserving accurate retractions and preventing filament jams.
- Toolless Installation & Removal: Features an open horseshoe/C-clip profile with a textured tab, allowing users to snap it into place or pull it off by hand.
- Durable Injection-Molded Polymer: Built from flexible yet rigid plastic that withstands repeated clipping cycles without snapping or stretching out of shape.

Maintenance & Care Tips
- Clip Placement Order: Always push the 4 mm PTFE tube all the way into the pneumatic fitting first, then slide the retaining clip into the gap beneath the release collar.
- Removing PTFE Tubes: You must remove the retaining ring before trying to detach a tube. Attempting to pull out the PTFE tube while the retaining clip is installed will damage the fitting's internal steel teeth or tear the tube wall.
- Keep Spares Handset: Due to their small size, retaining clips are easy to drop or lose during maintenance. Ensure the clip is firmly seated flush against the fitting body so it doesn't vibrate loose during high-acceleration prints (600 mm/s).
