  • The Anycubic Kobra X Series Quick Release Hotend with 0.4mm Nozzle is an official OEM drop-in thermal module designed specifically for high-speed printing on the Anycubic Kobra X / Kobra X Combo series. Rated for temperatures up to 320C, this module integrates an all-metal heat break, high-efficiency ceramic heater core, pre-wired sensors, and a standard 0.4 mm brass nozzle into a toolless quick-swap housing. 
  • Toolless Quick-Swap Design: Features an integrated quick-release retaining latch that lets you release and swap the hotend assembly in seconds without needing tools, heat-tightening, or disassembling the extruder carriage.
  • High-Temperature Performance (320C): Unlike standard hotends capped at 260C, the all-metal thermal break supports engineering materials like ASA, ABS, and high-temp PETG alongside PLA and TPU. 
  • 360° Ring Ceramic Heating Element: Encloses the melt zone with a high-wattage ceramic ring heater for ultra-fast thermal ramp-up and consistent temperature stability during high-speed volumetric extrusion (up to 600 mm/s print speeds). 
  • Standard 0.4 mm Brass Nozzle: Features an integrated 0.4 mm brass nozzle, providing the ideal balance between fine feature detail and high material output for default slicing profiles. 
  • Pre-Assembled Plug-and-Play Unit: Ships fully assembled with pre-routed wiring connectors, thermistor, heater block, and a high-temperature protective silicone sock.

Maintenance & Care Tips

  • Cold Swap Recommended: Always allow the hotend to cool below 40C before pressing the quick-release clip to avoid burns or thermal shock.
  • Silicone Boot Requirement: Keep the custom silicone insulator installed around the heating block. Running without the boot allows part-cooling airflow to destabilize temperature readings, causing thermal runaway stops.
  • Run PID Tuning: After clipping in a new module, run an Auto PID Calibration from the printer menu to calibrate temperature response for optimal thermal accuracy.
