- The Anycubic Kobra X Series ACE GEN2 Hot End Cutter Assembly is the official OEM modular cutting unit built specifically for the Kobra X toolhead. It handles clean, mechanical filament severing during automatic material retracts and multi-color spool changes via the Anycubic ACE unit.
- Integrated Shear Action: Positioned directly above the hotend heat break entry path, it cleanly cuts off the softened end of the filament strand before the material is pulled back through long PTFE tubes.
- Jam Prevention: Slicing the molten tip flush prevents bulbous or stringy filament ends from getting stuck inside the printhead, selector hub, or feeding channels.
- High-Precision Carbide Blade: Equipped with an ultra-sharp, wear-resistant steel cutter blade that maintains a clean shearing edge across standard (PLA, PETG) and tough filaments (ABS, ASA, TPU).
- Torsion Spring Auto-Reset: Employs an internal recoil spring that immediately pulls the cutter lever arm back out of the filament channel after being pressed by the printer frame's actuation pin.
- Modular Direct Drop-In: Secures inside the ACE GEN2 printhead housing via dedicated fixing screw mounts, allowing quick replacement without tearing down the entire extruder gear drive.

- Wire Routing: When re-seating the cutter module and closing the toolhead cover, ensure all internal cooling fan wires are tucked neatly to the right so they aren't pinched by the cutter lever arm movement.
- Debris Clearance: If multi-color prints start failing during tool changes, check the cutter pivot for fine plastic shavings or dust and clear them out with compressed air.
