  • The Anycubic SP Kobra S1 / S1 Combo Heated Bed Assembly (Hotbed): Is the primary thermal build surface platform engineered specifically for the enclosed CoreXY architecture of the Kobra S1 series.It consists of an aluminum alloy heat-spreader sub-plate, a high-power AC/DC heating trace element, a pre-applied flexible magnetic sticker base, integrated thermistor wiring, and bottom thermal insulation to ensure uniform bed temperatures during high-speed printing.
  • High-Efficiency Uniform Thermal Heating: Designed with dense trace routing across the aluminum plate to heat rapidly up to 110°C without cold spots, preventing first-layer corner warping on engineering polymers (ABS/ASA/PET-CF).
  • Pre-Applied High-Temp Magnetic Sheet: Factory-laminated with a flexible magnetic base rated for continuous high temperatures, securing spring-steel PEI build plates without shifting under rapid Z/Y motion.
  • Integrated Bottom Thermal Shielding: Features a bottom thermal insulation cotton backing that redirects heat upward toward the build surface while protecting lower electronics from heat exposure inside the enclosed chamber.
  • Heavily Reinforced Strain-Relief Harness: Includes a fixed rear wire relief bracket to prevent copper conductor flexing stress and thermal fatigue along the power and thermistor leads.

  • Perform Bed Leveling & Z-Offset Calibration: After installing a replacement bed plate, perform a full Automatic Bed Leveling (ABL) and Z-Offset Alignment cycle to account for minute mounting height differences.
  • Bed PID Tuning: Execute a Bed PID Calibration through the printer's interface so the control board can calibrate heat output cycles for stable, steady-state temperatures.
  • Verify Cable Clearance: Check that the rear power cable bundle glides freely without pressing against the rear enclosure walls when the Z-axis moves to its lowest point.
